Verify based on the sales figures of each items
We ought to do a review and summarize our actions following each exhibition. The first step is to create a cycle-based summary for each individual product. To obtain a list of the single-item sales, we may, for instance, print out a single-item sales list from the checkout database at the cash register within a week or a month, and sort the items based on the number sold.
We can easily determine which styles are the best-selling items in our store based on this list. Which ones don't sell well? The matching formula is:
Main promotion = best-seller?
If so, well done; this presentation works well! If not, we regretfully still need to alter our display!
2. Verify with local sales data
Based on the list, we must locate each item's proper position in the store in the second step:
a. Where in the shop are the top five items on the best-selling list located? Is it the primary area for promotion?
b. What percentage of the merchandise in the store's primary promotion section makes up the sales list?
d. Do other common areas have any best sellers?
d. In what section of the shop is the one product with the lowest sales figures located?
You can essentially determine which section and wall our store's best-selling goods originate from by combining the list with the store's location. Does the primary area for marketing draw customers' attention to the items and encourage purchases? If the sales performance of products in the central island area or around the VP point in your store is average, it means that the promotion effect of the main promotion area is not good! We must find out the reasons in time and make adjustments.
